The Desk comes Fully assembled, with a Keyboard drawer and a PC tower compartment, with a cable hole in the back panel. It is completely solid throughout. Chinese oak is theoretically not oak but related to ash. It does, however, have the same characteristics as oak, i.e. it is a hardwood with a grain structure and colour almost identical to oak.
