Height: 60 cm In common for this range is that all units are crafted in SOLID Chinese Oak. No veneers are used. All units - except for beds, wardrobes and Bookcases - come fully assembled. The carcasses are constructed using 24 mm thick cross rails between the drawers. The sides are proper floating panels in a frame construction. These features contribute to make the cabinets completely rigid and sturdy. Each drawer runs on 3 runners - one in each side and one in the bottom. This gives the runners a very smooth action and just adds to the overall feel of superior quality. In addition all drawers have a really neat drawer stop, which prevents them from coming out all the way and drop on the floor. Of course, thid drawer stop can be cancelled, if you want to take a drawer out. The design is a timeless shaker look with the tapered legs and straight, clean lines. It ensures that these units will look and feel as impressive in many years time as they do today, and they will blend in very nicely in just about any house. This is the type of furniture that is not let down by anything. It is bound to exceed even the highest expectations. Chinese oak is theoretically not oak but related to ash. It does, however, have the same characteristics as oak, i.e. it is a hardwood with a grain structure and colour almost identical to oak. The main difference is that it appears more tidy than oak and has less knots.
