As for the rest of the New England range, the cabinet comes fully assembled crafted in Solid Chinese Oak, Chinese oak is theoretically not oak but related to ash. I does, however, have the sames characteristics as oak, i.e. it is a hardwood with a grain structure and colour almost identical to oak. The main difference is that it appears more tidy than oak and has less knots.
